Dr. Thomas McInroy

Dr. McInroy taught K-12 Art for ten years at the Forbes Road School District.  In 1998, he left the classroom to begin his administrative career.  He served as the Everett Area School District High School Assistant Principal, Westmont Hilltop School District Middle School Assistant Principal, Tussey Mountain School District Elementary Principal, Superintendent of the Shanksvills-Stonycreek School District, and the Superintendent of the Bellwood-Antis School District.

Dr. McInroy attended Mansfield University earning a BSED in Art Education, Shippensburg University earning a master’s degree in Educational Administration and Principal certifications.  He returned to Shippensburg University to earn a Letter of Eligibility for the superintendent’s position and earned his Doctorate from Widener University.

On a personal note, Dr. McInroy has his private pilot’s license, invented an art appreciation game called Art Bits, and is the founder and President of the Pennsylvania Public Entity Energy Consortium (PPEEC).  He is married and has three children and two grandchildren.  Dr. McInroy’s youngest son is currently serving in the United States Air Force.
